The Pennsylvania Performing Arts Company was established to provide performance opportunities for all ages, cultures and levels of talent.   PPAC is not interested in finding the most talented performers but involvement of people whom the arts will benefit the most.  Our charities have been in the past, “Make A Wish”  foundation, “Saint Judes Children’s Hospital,” local benefits hosted to help brain injured children, breast cancer victim and a child born without ribs.  When there is a need we organize.

What have we done?
The Pennsylvania Performing Arts Theatre has sponsored events for many programs.  Each year a Spring Gala of performances including excerpts from a ballet as well as choreography competition winners and music competition winners.  Solely supported by tickets for each event.  The non profit has also sponsored an annual performance of “The Nutcracker.”
A scholarship fund was also organized. PPAC has given over $10,000.00 in the past 5 years to students for classes in the arts.  Presently, the program has sponsored a number of youth musical theatre performances.  Priority has been given to the performance area for the students and the rehearsal areas.
The Pennsylvania Performing Arts performs in the Pennsylvania Performing Arts theatre.  In 2016, a new stage was purchased for the theatre, backdrop LED lights, backstage rooms on either sides of the stage, one with a bathroom.  We have acquired a restaurant license, had air testing and monthly water testing.  Raised the ceilings in the theatre area.
We are presently placing in two new heaters because the building is comprised of four heaters and we are using donations to slowly replace all.
The Theatre is owned by the Conservatory of Music and Dance who holds their classes here and provides PPAC with accommodations based on their performances and rehearsals

Our Artistic and Executive staff and volunteers?

Catherine Cianciulli is the Exectutive Director of the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Company.  Having a degree in performance and minor in management and certification in education as well as graduate studies, including present graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania for non profit leadership.  She has run the Conservatory of Music and Dance for the past 28 years which includes three locations, a music, dance and theatre school.  She has passionately directed  the pennsylvania performing arts program for the past 8 years providing performance opportunities and benefits to student performers and scholarship programs as well as charitable donations.
Among the staff are highly qualified staff who offer artistic leadership in the arts as well as volunteers who have assisted the program by decreasing costs of facility and upgrades.
The Pennsylvania Performing Arts Company is proud to have a number of supporters from local community and also from the professional community.  They have shared and borrowed from the Barn Playhouse, loaned to schools for costuming and back drop.  Shared strategies with other non profit representatives and sponsored programs for special needs.
The forward growth of the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Company is inevitable because of our longlasting relationships and mission driven support.
